How often should I send emails to my customers?

The exact frequency could vary depending on the kind of business you are, but as a very general rule ‘once per month’ works very well. Many businesses follow a format of one ‘newsletter’ style email per month, then supplement that with ad-hoc, shorter ‘promotional emails’, when they have a specific offer or event.
